~ Youtube Videos featuring Kny & How-To be a Youtuber

Hey!  This is a playlist I have created on youtube featuring videos that I’ve been in.

It’s just over a year old now, and it includes over a dozen filmmakers from the Springfield, MO area.  I’m sure there are several videos I’m missing – But that’s okay, cuz we keep making more!

(click to open- Over 38,000 Views!  More if you’re willing!)

Playlist – Youtube Vids with Kny!

If you like one of the videos, please do us a favor – Subscribe to the filmmaker’s channel – Rate the Video – Leave a Comment.  It only takes a couple minutes and it makes every bit of difference to the filmmaker.

When you subscribe, rate or comment that video gets lifted into a new realm – The realm where other people are encouraged to watch it.  Sounds like some kind of weird ritual rites or something huh?  Yup – It’s like magic.  White Magic.

IF you’re not familiar with youtube – click on the “Home” button.  There you will see all different categories.  Why are those videos on those categories?  What makes them so damn special that everyone gets to look at them and not your favorite videos?

It’s viral – It’s Associative, It’s awesome.  If you click “Favorite,” or subscribe, rate or comment on that video – the rest of the world has a better chance of stumbling across that  video – even if only for a moment.  This works because it automatically updates on their subscriber’s pages, their friends and contacts and increases the video’s chances.  Cuz there are billions of viewers watching billions of movies a day on that old youtube thingy – and we don’t make these videos to sit on a shelf.

We make them so people can watch them.

So do all 4 if you can (redundant I know) – Favorite – Rate – Subscribe – Comment

Do it – Watch them and give us a chance to Grow by clicking on some buttons.  You won’t regret it, and you are watching youtube anyway right?

and maybe check out my page

The KenKny Show

But Remember – This works both ways – If you don’t like the Video – Give it a one rating, don’t subscribe and don’t do anything but watch another one.

But do – Give it a One Rating (click on one star) This way – the guy that made the crappy video will get the point and quite making crap – There’s lots of crap on the internet and you- the user has a say in it – Tell em the truth!!! Leave a comment and tell em to cram it!

~ Interview with the Director!

Well, We’re getting closer to wrapping this project up!

I have been blessed with some of the best crew members and most talented actor available in this area. I’m in the middle of a dream come true. But I guess that’s not exactly how it seems, cuz I suffer from Lucid Dreams – and conversely, my perception of reality may be a bit different than others.

Everything that could go right, has – and everything that could go wrong, has fallen from the sky- plummeting to the earth at thousands of miles per hour. Burning through the atmosphere until it explodes against the hard earth…

But it’s going really well! All we have left is a few clusters of scenes – the elusive buggers that have made it this far without being filmed yet. It makes me wonder – If I had lots of money, would it be this hard? Is it only this difficult because I don’t have a budget?

I guess so. We’ll see next time, because this one is going to be so freakin awesome that the whole game is going to change.  I’ve waited years to attempt making something like this happen.  I’ve held my cards and now it’s time to double down and take it home.  Everyone I’ve worked with in the past years has come through – they’ve all volunteered their time and effort for my dreams, and I am one lucky man to have so many friends that mean so well.

This is the biggest thing I’ve ever tried to put together.  Thousands of hours – thousands of conversations – Hell, thousands of dollars in phone bills!  But no more, cuz it got too expensive – and I don’t think anyone should have to pay that much money for a communication device.  I’ve lived for years without a cellphone – and now I have a reason to finally make that “Anit-Cell Phone” video I’ve always talked about!

But – On to the Interview – Check out the Details! Thanks Everyone!!!

In my struggles to figure it all out, I’ve come across a few resources to help me make it. In example – The 10 Commandments of Independent Film Makers – It’s alot like The 4 Agreements… but there isn’t one thing in there about being a lying, stealing weasel…. interesting enough, I guess you don’t have to be a jerkimo to make it in the industry. Who’d have thunk it?

The Entertainment Industry is full of shysters, weasels and ulterior motives. Whether in the professional or amateur levels of the game, there are varying degrees of the types. I’d like to think it’s worse in the amateur, or semi-professional states – due to the lack of money involved and the unwanton habits of those that feel they are entitled to success and fame from a long and hard-lived life of working in obscurity. For no money. They deserve it.

But, I know now that it probably only changes as you progress through the ranks. The lies probably get bigger as the ramifications of your actions begin to delegate and dictate your every next moves. It’s pretty exciting. Since, i guess, everyone will try to take it from you anyway – You might as well just accept it.

Move on, move forward and never take it seriously, personally or with anything more than a grain of salt.

Just a spoon-full of sugar makes the medicine go down!

There will always be people trying to put you down.  This is the industry for dreams, dreamers and the best- most successful medium for the betterment of mankind.  I’ve always known this – but it now has become assimilated with my soul, and as I become a correlated amalgam of woos and woes – I know the source of my pain.

Making my Dreams come true, and including everyone that wants a piece of the action.  Anyone still have dreams out there?

But here at Mount Olympus Films – there is a no-nonsense atmosphere.  Strictly enforced and held evident in everything we do.  Check your Drama at the door and come in.  Somewhere we can feel free to create and have the resources to do so.  The highs and lows still remain, but the pains become transient in our endeavor.  We make new friends, we lose some friends and understand that seldom to never can everyone be completely happy.  But most of us can, really – all of us can.  Sometimes we just need to re-evaluate what makes us happy.

But who am I to talk? I’ve put down some experiences in my existence – and maybe I’m guilty of making myself happy.  Learning to accept that the power is with in me, because no one will ever give me the things it takes.  But not everyone can do that…

Or can we?  Read my poem – “It is Inside”

Cheers to you, I hope we see each other soon!

more coming soon!

~ The Brighter Side

Patience Paves the Paths to Tomorrow and time is not to borrow.  I saw a man just the other day – I stopped just to hear what he had to say.

He talked of rain and spoke of clouds as he subtly addressed all of his own doubts.  I heard the colors of his paint and saw the vivid pictures depict,  a lesson,  that he told and wished to stick.

As he taught a smile grew as he explained a misty hue.  In the clouds across the sky, The storm had passeed and by and by,  A gorgeous trail of Green and Red, Orange and Blue as raindrops shed.  From grey to white thier colors changed and as their shapes got rearranged, the ceiling changed. The sun came out and once again, without a doubt.  The Day so new and air so clean, beauty so deep with in everything.  What precursed had come and passed, but of course, It wouldn’t last.

Now as a recollection tends to be, I may have missed a line or three, as grand distractions tend to swallow me.  Yet I heard what this man had meant to say, and he was worth the stop and wait; on the side of the rail on a seven day train.

He’d seen so much, a life so long, with so much right. All the wrong had taught him so much and helped him grow.

Having lived, all he had to show was tattered hair and weathered skin because his prize was locked within.

Through trial and horror, he saw how quickly a fear can dissappear.

So much time was wasted in a life that started way too dim, where light did shine one time, and glisten bright.  And it only took one life, took him one whole life to hear the rain, to learn to wait, to see the bow.

To fall from high and land too low, to trust not to ask and trust that you know.

As the storms will always pass, A life not lived, could never last.

~ It is Inside

It is inside our homes where evil freely roams, and the demons of today are hard to see.

The need for power, worth gave not earned – makes for dreams that are corrupted.  Entitled not for what you’ve not done, the blessings go where they are welcome.

In a World where virtue can be procured on the desks of offices-in-law, it takes not but a simple sense of wrong to go the right direction.

So how then does the broad consensus, as if blinded to their senses, decide to wrong a fellow part of their existence?

For all are to play a role, with the greatest of all tools: The ability to choose.
A life of Lucks, Risks, Great Triumphs, and jeweled with defeats that often seem too hard to beat.   The melody of all things, that may or may not be.  The pretty song of life.

But to perceive this, i.e… any circumstance, as an unfair chance, would be as easy as -

“Do not walk on the Grass”

- that is never green enough, and all those things you thought you knew aren’t worth enough.  While everything it takes seems… just out of touch.  Can the complex, useless paradigm of nonsense increase our life OR fun?

The few that have the simple hopes of joy, those who dream of being satisfied, know exactly what is important.  With their unfailing love and warm hugs they take their peers higher than the worst of all our culture’s drugs.  That’s Right – I’m talkin bout love.  The Word, the myth.  Adventure and everything above.

We search for what we cannot find, and don’t see that what we need may just be what we have already.  We faithfully follow hypocrisy and wait for life to happen, embarrassed by our genes.

It’s the space between the various, the different shades, that make all of us, separate and anonymous to freely go in NO direction.  To pick from pleas and place our bets, borrow things and forget our debts.

So beautiful, the race of man.  So lost and now – beyond disbanded.

The Chaotic Dance that – has – lost – its – beat.

Yet we insist we must compete, and care not to cooperate.  Fingers pointed way too often to place the blame on any one for we have all done something wrong and wished we could rewind.

A request that is nothing more than just a funny waste of time.

Lets move it forward and set a course that could never be forgotten.  The simple fights have all been fought, and all of our emotions have been spoken.

It’s time to move on past the gate, outside and embrace what is within.  We have no need to hurt another and so many owe for today their good deed.

So easy as a simple wave, a nice hello, or a bid adieu-  with hopes that every shoe that’s been walked in will walk again and protect the feet of those that work for what we need.  We can work for what we need, live through the cold, and sit together once again, rest and relaxing in our neighbors lawns.

And we can watch – What Spring will Dawn.

~ A Salesman’s 9:Five

If I didn’t have to buy the food to live,
I would never work again.

Then – a dollar would be… worth less than,
the wood inside my head.

As dumb as a man I hardly stand another man’s Commands, and my understandings often understate my
blunders – that – reach farther than my wings can span.

If hired:

I am more than worth the while
to be trained and taught the plan.

I can the crap you’ve made by the mile,
and sell it by the plate.

I love to cash the sun’s rays in,
for days on end, not having- Any fun-

I will sarcastically run my happy ass up
the crack of dawn to get your glory done.

Then sit back, your #1 as you retract my slack,
then offer my job up -
to prevent your checks from being robbed by my
“Employee of the Month.

And be fine, the only one just short on rent.

But as a friend,
If you need need it done that bad – Let’s trade-it out, Go quid pro quo.

You can work for me as… a big steel rod-

Then get paid to go get bent.

~ I dreamt of Electric Sheep

As an Android, I dreamt of electric sheep today.

I caught myself playing Farmville as I smiled with delight.  I opened my farmville christmas presents and a bright orange aura grew from inside my jacket pocket.

So many gifts from so many great friends… So many cute little chickens, baby cows and adorable sheep.  I quickly fancied how great it would be to have a farm like that!  I would love to have all these cute little things… but then – I do, don’t I?  Right here- on my facebook farm?

And yet, it’s still so soothing.  They’re so durn cute.

I love to make-believe, I’m a writing actor for crying out loud – But this is ridiculous.  We may as well be doped up in a world somewhere between Equilibrium and The Matrix.  I want to escape the horrors of the real world and find Science Fiction type solace in my home-office.

But do we need to kill our brains and suck the internet dry at the same time?  Can we willingly make ourselves any more mentally handicapped?  How Ironic is it that our technologies (usage and knowledge of tools) are actually “DeBraining” us?  That’s right I made it up – it will soon be a word.

Does anybody have any idea how much bandwidth is being eaten up by Farmville allover the Internet?!  Enough to slowdown all my downloads – I PROMISE!!!  After Spending 3 hours clicking on gift requests I decided I would never be able to keep up, catch up or get anywhere with my virtual farming.  I decided to stop.

Okay, I’ve blocked “Farmville” on all my pages – No more sillycrap.

I also Decided that I would make a spoof – But the first step in making an awesome “Viral Spoof Video” is thinking it through, then you see if anyone else has…

The Farmville Spoof Ad!

The Farmville Rap

well… I guess I might have to better Orchestrate my attempt to straighten out Farmville Users, after I see how well these videos do.  Because this has to stop.

This has to stop.  Everyone I know complaining about a lack of time in their lives for all the important things, admits so between crops on Farmville.  Funny thing – Pretending to grow things in the internet.  Make-Believe Gardens, but it doesn’t stop there.  You even get to tend to your animals and all your pushy neighbors… wow… that’s all I can say at this point.  wow

I’ll have a video up soon

~ A Rose, Froze – Entrapped in Glass

The Rose froze Entrapped in glass

The poem, that rose, inspired by the past, is the lace on the neck
with a pendant placed on the chest.  Beauty will never lose the
rose that put the words in the writer’s heart.  Beauty’s prose.
With gorgeous stems, like gorgeous toes, gorgeous grows such
gorgeous groves, endless without start.

A gift not given till the rose was gone and came. To a flower fully
furnished with its own sunrays and perfumed eyes that pulled me
away. I was stolen straight from the day and shown how fragranced the way could be. How paths can be lost beneath the snow’s cold shiny frost, the rose froze to my nose in months of glass, broken, swept away with trash and treasure and the unseen months of missed calendar pictures.

Frigid pleasure that of reminiscing how
I miss her. So I froze the rose and trapped in glass it illustrates
how beauty lasts. Endless, Eternal, forever and some. The rose is
still east and pretty the sun.

I found the rose froze, entrapped in ice while traveling the ugliest road in my life. The smile that saved me like the stem that braced me, a flower I embraced and how it bridged the space that makes me.

I am left uncold and that rose’s life is forever, untouchably froze
with a part of me that nobody knows.
