A quiet Missouri town is gripped by fear when the bodies of several young women are discovered – victims of a cunning serial killer.  The psychopath is as adept at manipulating the media as he is at stumping the police.

A life or death crisis unfolds as an attractive television reporter is forced into a dangerous compromise by her boss after taunts by the killer.  Her only hope of survival is in the hands of a veteran police lieutenant who is determined to stop the madman before he claims more innocent lives.
